Policies that increase the ability to adapt to climate change and decrease vulnerability can serve as a protective shield for citizens’ health.

As the future holds more frequent heatwaves as a consequence of climate change, the need for heat-health action plans will rise, to avoid serious health consequences in the population.

Mitigation of sources of climate gas emissions, for example from the use of fossil fuels in cars and in the industry is crucial.
